Bihar Government Scraps Legislative Assembly Recruitment Vacancies Amid Allegations

The Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government has issued an order to cancel legislative assembly recruitment vacancies in the state, marking the first directive of the NDA government to overturn the earlier decision made by the Grand Alliance.

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha expressed gratitude towards Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the assembly speakers for their prompt action. Referring to the previous government’s decision, Sinha highlighted the persistent inquiries made by the current administration regarding the legislative assembly recruitment vacancies.

“We repeatedly raised concerns over the legislative assembly recruitment vacancy and even addressed letters to the Chief Minister and the Governor. These concerns were also brought to light through the media. However, no action was taken,” Sinha remarked.

Commending the Chief Minister’s proactive stance, Sinha emphasized the importance of investigating individuals involved in the illicit exchange of money for jobs. He urged the government to conduct a thorough probe to unveil the modus operandi of such individuals and shed light on the intricacies of corrupt practices.

“With the release of tenders, corrupt practices often surface. The entire process is under review,” Sinha stated.

Expressing appreciation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to combat corruption, Sinha lauded Nitish Kumar’s unwavering stance on the issue. He subtly criticized political opponents, suggesting that the ongoing investigation would expose those engaged in nepotism.

In a recent remark, Vijay Kumar Sinha referred to the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) as a “party of gimmicks,” asserting that they lack genuine leadership and are akin to actors rather than statesmen.
