The Government has unveiled the nominees for the prestigious National Creators Award 2024, celebrating the remarkable contributions of digital content creators towards positive change and innovation. In its inaugural edition, over 200 nominees are contending for recognition across 22 diverse categories, showcasing a spectrum of talent and creativity.
Announced on the MyGov platform last month, the awards garnered nominations from both citizens and content creators until February 21. Nominees span across various categories including storytelling, social change advocacy, environmental sustainability, education, gaming, and more, reflecting the rich tapestry of digital content creation in India.
The lineup of nominees features a blend of established luminaries and emerging talent, with prominent names such as Katrina Kaif, Yash, Ranveer Allahbadia, Komal Pandey, and Dharna Durga gracing the list. Standout nominees in the storytelling category include Zakir Khan and Food Lovers TV, while disruptors like Nancy Tyagi and Abhi and Niyu shine in their respective categories. Influential social change advocates like Sandeep Maheshwari and Prajakta Koli, as well as agri-creators Darshan Singh and Rythu Badi, are also recognized for their impactful contributions.

The Terms & Conditions for the awards stipulate that nominees must be Indian nationals aged 18 and above, with content published on various digital platforms. Creators can self-nominate in up to three categories, with assessments based on criteria such as creativity, impact, reach, innovation, sustainability, and alignment with award goals. Compliance with legal and community standards is mandatory, and the Jury’s decision is final. Follower/subscriber counts are considered as of February 9, 2024, with no appeals or re-evaluations permitted.
