Assam’s Chief Minister Unveils Largest Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the country’s largest Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana in Naharkatiya area of ​​Dibrugarh.

On Wednesday , CM Sarma tweeted , “Today’s #VikasYatra has brought forward over Rs 1,600 crore in developmental initiatives across Assam. Notable among these is the new solar-powered housing colony under the PM Awas Yojana at Naharkatiya, a state-of-the-art convention. Center in Lakhimpur, and an ambulance to our tea gardens.”

As part of Vikas Yatra, Chief Minister in Dibrugarh Rs. 745 crore development projects and on Wednesday in Lakhimpur Rs. Inaugurated 46 projects worth Rs 807 crore, as detailed by CM Himanta Biswa Sarma at X.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Chief Minister of Assam had announced that, under Vikas Yatra, the state government would spend a statewide cumulative Rs. 23,000 crore projects have been inaugurated and launched.

Continuing his active participation in the ongoing development journeys, the Chief Minister attended a rally at Bajali in Lower Assam. A total of Rs. 154 crore project was inaugurated or foundation stone laid by CM Sarma. Addressing the gathering, CM Sarma expressed confidence that the inaugurated projects have significant potential to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the residents of Bajli district.

 

Earlier, the Assam Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 171 crore in Bongaigaon.
