Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to present the first-ever National Creators Award at Bharat Mandapam in the national capital on Friday. The award has generated significant public interest, with over 1.5 lakh nominations and approximately 10 lakh votes cast.
The ceremony will also feature an address by the Prime Minister. The National Creators Award aims to honor excellence and impact across various fields, including storytelling, social advocacy, environmental sustainability, education, and gaming, serving as a platform to promote positive change through creativity.
The award garnered extensive public participation, with over 1.5 lakh nominations received across 20 categories in the initial round. Subsequently, approximately 10 lakh votes were cast in the voting phase for digital creators in different award categories, leading to the selection of 23 winners, including three international creators.
The award spans twenty categories, encompassing recognitions such as Best Storyteller, Disruptor of the Year, Celebrity Creator of the Year, Green Champion, Creator for Social Change, and others. The categories also include honors for creators in fields like travel, technology, fashion, education, gaming, health, and fitness.
