The Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru, which recently experienced a low-intensity explosion causing injury to 10 individuals, is gearing up to reopen its doors to the public tomorrow that is March 9.
Owner Raghavendra Rao expressed his sentiments regarding the reopening, and said, “We are resuming operations tomorrow. The cafe will open at 6:30 am with the National Anthem, which holds significance for us.”
He has further added, “We are grateful to the government for their swift assistance in reopening the cafe. The NIA is actively pursuing the perpetrator, and we are confident the injured will be brought to justice soon. Prior to reopening, we have implemented necessary precautions and guidance provided by the government and police. Additional CCTV cameras have been installed, and we will assign a dedicated staff member for premises surveillance.”
In related developments, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for any information leading to the apprehension of the bomber responsible for the blast at Rameshwaram Cafe. Emphasizing the confidentiality of informants, the NIA released a picture of the suspect captured from CCTV footage at the cafe. The individual depicted in the image is seen wearing a cap, black pants, and black shoes. The agency has reiterated its commitment to rewarding any information contributing to the arrest of the perpetrator.
