A significant fire broke out in six dhabas and two shops situated near the Bisrakh Police Station area in Greater Noida on Wednesday, as reported by the fire department. The incident, attributed to a short circuit, prompted a swift response from ten fire tenders dispatched to the scene to contain the blaze.
Officials from the fire department confirmed that the fire originated in the Gau City Circle, leading to the activation of fire service vehicles for immediate intervention. Upon arrival, it was observed that six dhabas and two shops were engulfed in flames. The firefighting operation, involving the deployment of ten fire tenders, commenced promptly.
Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Pradeep Kumar provided an update on the situation, stating, “We received information about fire in a few dhabas in Gau City Circle. Fire service vehicles left for the spot. We found six dhabas and two shops on fire. Ten fire tenders are here. We have brought the fire under control, cooling operation is underway. There are no casualties or injuries in the incident.”
The firefighting efforts proved successful, with the fire brought under control and subsequent cooling operations initiated to mitigate any potential re-ignition risks. Fortunately, there were no reported casualties or injuries resulting from the incident.
