The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced the schedule for the Lok Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh, with voting to be conducted in four phases across various constituencies.
The first phase of voting is set to take place on April 19 in six Lok Sabha constituencies: Sidhi, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat, and Chhindwara. This phase will mark the beginning of the electoral process in the state.
Moving on to the second phase, scheduled for April 26, voting will occur in Tikamgarh, Damoh, Khajuraho, Satna, Rewa, Hoshangabad, and Betul Lok Sabha constituencies.
The third phase of voting is slated for May 7 and will cover Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Guna, Sagar, Vidisha, Bhopal, and Rajgarh Lok Sabha constituencies.
Finally, the fourth phase of voting will take place on May 13 in Dewas, Ujjain, Indore, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Dhar, Khargone, and Khandwa Lok Sabha constituencies, concluding the voting process in Madhya Pradesh.
Overall, these elections will witness the participation of approximately 56 million voters across the state, making it a crucial democratic exercise in determining the representation and governance for the people of Madhya Pradesh at the national level.
