A few portals recently reported that Salman Khan is set to collaborate with Atlee, who made his Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’, for an action drama. They also claimed that the Tamil filmmaker had met ‘Bhai’ and Arbaaz Khan. Salman’s younger brother has now reacted to these rumours.
In an interview with Mid Day, Arbaaz said that the reports are baseless. He further added he has never met Atlee in his life.
“It’s just a rumour that Salman, Atlee and I have met. I’ve never met Atlee in my life. I’ve never seen him, forget meeting him. Until you hear from the horse’s mouth, you shouldn’t believe (the rumours) too much,” added the actor.
Salman Khan was last seen in ‘Tiger 3’, which did good business at the box office despite mixed reviews. The spy-thriller, directed by Maneesh Sharma of ‘Fan’ fame, was a part of the Yash Raj Spy Universe. It starred Katrina Kaif as the leading lady. The cast included Emraan Hashmi, Shah Rukh Khan, and Revathi.
Bollywood’s ‘Sultan’ will soon be beginning work on his film with AR Murugadoss. The actioner is set to hit screens on Eid 2025. Salman is also keen to return as Chulbul Pandey in Dabangg 4 but the film is unlikely to take off anytime soon as he wants to wrap up his film with ARM before beginning new projects.
Arbaaz, meanwhile, is gearing up for the release of his latest production venture ‘Patna Shukla’. The film features Raveena Tandon and internet sensation Anushka Kaushik in the lead. This is his first release as a producer after ‘Dabangg 3’ (2019). ‘Patna Shukla’ will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on March 29.
