Eight BJP Leaders Sworn In as Ministers in Haryana Cabinet

In a significant political development, eight Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders took oath as ministers in the Haryana cabinet during a swearing-in ceremony at Raj Bhawan, Chandigarh, on Tuesday. Among them were Seema Trikha, Kamal Gupta, Mahilpal Dhanda, Aseem Goel, Abhe Singh Yadav, Subhash Sudha, Bishamber Singh, and Sanjay Singh.

Expressing gratitude, Minister Seema Trikha highlighted the collaborative decision-making process within the BJP and pledged to fulfill their responsibilities diligently. Newly sworn Minister Dr. Abhe Singh Yadav expressed optimism about his role, particularly focusing on water-related initiatives in Haryana.

Minister Mahipal Dhanda emphasized a commitment to accelerating development efforts and expressed confidence in winning all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana.

During the ceremony, Minister Subhash Sudha extended thanks to various leaders and pledged to run the government with honesty. Aseem Goel praised the developmental achievements under former CM Manohar Lal Khattar’s guidance and vowed to continue the progress.

Governor Bandaru Dattatreya administered the oath of office to the newly sworn-in leaders.

Notably, Nayab Singh Saini was sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Haryana on March 12, succeeding Manohar Lal Khattar. Alongside Saini, other ministers from the old cabinet also took oath.

Saini, who is seen as a confidante of Khattar and an influential figure within the Other Backward Classes (OBC) community, recently launched the BJP’s Lok Sabha campaign in Haryana, emphasizing the goal of bringing Prime Minister Narendra Modi to power for the third term.

The Chief Minister also visited Gurudwara Shri Nada Sahib in Panchkula to offer prayers, marking a significant start to his leadership tenure and political activities in the state.
