Modi expressed his wishes for the peace, progress, and prosperity of the Russian people, affirming India’s commitment to strengthening the partnership between the two nations.

In a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Modi highlighted their mutual efforts to deepen and expand the Special & Privileged Strategic Partnership between India and Russia in the coming years. The leaders also discussed progress in bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual concern.

Reiterating India’s stance on the Ukraine-Russia conflict, Modi emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomacy for resolving disputes. Meanwhile, Putin’s landslide victory solidified his leadership position, with other candidates receiving minimal support.

Putin underscored the message of Russia’s resilience and determination, asserting that the country will continue to assert its influence globally. He emphasized the importance of unity and resilience in the face of external pressures during his victory speech in Moscow.
