President Droupadi Murmu extended her warm greetings to the nation on the eve of Holi, emphasizing the festival’s promotion of love, unity, and brotherhood among people.

“On this auspicious occasion of Holi, I send my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all Indians, both in India and abroad,” stated the President in a Sunday message.

 She highlighted the vibrant and joyful nature of Holi, noting how its colors symbolize India’s diversity. The festival, according to her, fosters feelings of love, unity, and brotherhood while inspiring the preservation of cultural heritage.

“May this colorful festival bring happiness to everyone’s life and encourage us all to contribute to nation-building with renewed zeal,” she added.

Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also conveyed his Holi greetings, wishing happiness, prosperity, harmony, and renewed energy for everyone.

“Sending best wishes to all fellow citizens for the joyous festival of Holi. May this festival bring prosperity and harmony, energizing all of you,” Amit Shah shared from his official platform.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh joined in extending warm greetings on Holi, wishing for joy, enthusiasm, and new energy for everyone’s life.

“Best wishes to all on Holi. May this festival infuse joy, enthusiasm, and new energy into your lives. Happy Holi!” Rajnath Singh expressed.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took to social media to extend Holi wishes to the nation.

“I extend my Holi greetings to all citizens of the country,” PM Modi stated. “May this traditional festival adorned with colors of affection and harmony bring new energy and enthusiasm to your lives.”

Holi, celebrated with great fervor both in India and overseas, falls on March 25th this year. Preceded by the ritual of ‘Holika Dahan,’ the festival signifies the victory of good over evil. Dedicated to Lord Krishna, it reflects the spirit of Holi and embodies the eternal love of Radha and Krishna.
