Authorities at the Kakrahwa post on the Indo-Nepal border in Siddharthnagar, Uttar Pradesh, detained two individuals on Tuesday for unlawfully crossing into Indian territory. The apprehended individuals were identified as Zhou Pulin, hailing from Sichuan, China, and Yuan Yuhan, a resident of Chongqing, China.

Upon their interception, law enforcement confiscated two Chinese passports, a Nepalese tourist visa, multiple mobile phones, and two Chinese SIM cards from the suspects. Additionally, two small bags containing nine assorted cards were recovered during the operation.
An official statement released by authorities reported, “On March 26, 2024, two Chinese nationals, one male and one female, were apprehended for illegal entry into India. Following due legal procedures, an FIR has been lodged under Section 14(A) of the Foreigners Act 1946 at the local police station, and the accused have been remanded to the appropriate court.”
