‘Crew’, which hit screens on March 29, ended its first weekend on a terrific note despite mixed reviews. It collected Rs 32 crore in the first three days and exceeded expectations. The film has passed the crucial Monday test, going by initial trends. According to Akshaye Rathi, an exhibitor, the day four collection will be around Rs 4 crore. It is also likely to remain fairly stable over the weekdays.
“The all India nett collection will be around Rs 4 crore and this is an impressive figure given the type of film Crew is. The film offers good entertainment and there is a curiosity surrounding it. I expect it to sustain well over the weekdays,” he told News X.
If these estimates hold, Crew will collect Rs 36 crore in its first four days. Here is the daily breakdown for ‘Crew’

‘Crew’ released alongside ‘Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire’. The Hollywood biggie, however, has not had much of an impact on the comedy-drama.
“It has not had an impact on Crew and won’t have any going forward. The audience for both are different. A lot is indeed happening around us right now, There is the IPL and more. However, given the population, there is enough space for everything,”said Rathi.
‘Crew’ brings together the trio of Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon. The actresses play air hostesses who get involved in a smuggling scandal The cast also includes Diljit Dosanjh, Kapil Sharma, and Saswata. The film is directed by Rajesh Krishnan, who previously wielded the microphone for ‘Lootcase’. Ekta Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Digvijay Purohit are its producers.
