Furthermore, moles with irregular, notched, or scalloped borders should be observed closely. Supplement this defense with sun-protective clothing, including hats and sunglasses, to shield your body from harmful rays. Seek refuge in the shade during the peak hours of sunlight intensity, typically during midday.

Additionally, steer clear of tanning beds entirely, as they have been linked to a significant increase in melanoma risk, particularly among young adults and women.
