Donald Trump, the former US President, was shot in the ear during an attempt on his life by a gunman at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania today.
The shooter, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, was killed. A spectator also died in the shooting, and two others were critically injured, officials said.
The 78-year-old Republican presidential candidate, who his team said is “fine,” was attacked just as he began his speech. Blood was visible on his cheek and mouth.
