Congress MP Rahul Gandhi shows condolences over the tragic death of three UPSC aspirants who died after a massive waterlogging in the underground coaching centre in National Capital’s Rajendra Nagar area.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi critisizes the government on this issue, calling it a big failure. He added saying that the safety and security of the citizens in the country sould be the top priority.

He alledged that the government is paying by sacrificing innocent lives due to the poor planning of infrastructure development.

The Tragic death

The death of three students  named: Tania Soni(25), Shreya Yadav(25) and Navin Dalwin(28)  was due to waterlogging in the basement, where the coaching classes were held. The basement contained library where students gathered.

Coaching Centre Owners Detained

The Delhi police have arrested the owners of the coaching centre: Abhishek Singh and Deshpal Singh.  They have been booked for the charges of voluntary homicide.

General Secretary of Indian National Congress Priyanka Gandhi Wadra also showed concern on the tragedy. She posted on X, “Recently a student died due to electric shock in Patel Nagar. It is the height of carelessness and mismanagement that the lives of children who come here from far-off places to fulfill their dreams are being snatched away from them,” she tweeted.
