UPSC aspirant, who was preparing for the civil service examination at Delhi’s Old Rajinder Nagar lost her life to suicide.
This incident happened 3 days before the deaths of three UPSC students, who lost their lives to flooding at Rau’s Study Circle’s basement.
As per the police, the girl committed suicide due to depression and not being able to cope with the pressure.
Meanwhile in her suicide note, Anjali shared her inability to deal with her life’s problems and lack of space.
In addition, she also asked the government to decrease scams in government examination and provide employment.
Moreover she was also stressed due to increasing high rent, as her friend speaking to India Today TV said that Anjali used to give Rs 15,000 for room and later it was hiked to Rs 18,000.
In this heartbreaking letter, she has written ‘I am sorry Mummy Papa. I am really fed up with life now, and there are just problems and issues with no peace. I need peace. I tried every possible way to get rid of this so-called depression, but I can’t overcome it.’
In her letter, she also said that she knows that her death will become breaking news and she also said that these PG and hostels should decrease the rate. ‘PG and hostel rents should also be decreased. These people are just looting money from the students. Not every student can afford it.’
Currently, Delhi Police has lodged the case and probe is ongoing.
