Violence In Bangladesh
At least 91 people, including 14 police officers, were killed and many others injured in Bangladesh on Sunday as police used tear gas and stun grenades to disperse tens of thousands of protesters demanding Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s resignation.
The violence erupted this morning when protesters participating in a non-cooperation movement for the government’s resignation encountered resistance from supporters of the Awami League, Chhatra League, and Jubo League.
