The Haryana Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, has approved a significant revision in the pension and family pension for retired judicial officers in Haryana, in line with the recommendations of the Second National Judicial Pay Commission (SNJPC).
For judicial officers retired before 2016, the pension will be revised by multiplying the existing basic pension (as of December 31, 2015) by a factor of 2.81, rounded up to the nearest rupee. Alternatively, the pension can be updated based on the Fitment Table of the Haryana Civil Service (Judicial Branch) and the Haryana Superior Judicial Service Revised Pay Rules, 2023.
