However, the video’s origin is unclear, and some users suggest it might be a deepfake.
French influencer Alexis Poulin shared the video and also posted a thread featuring the cover of the French tabloid Voici. This magazine had exclusive photos of Macron, including one of him in beachwear at his summer home in Fort Bregancon. One photo shows a man holding Macron by the wrist, which might have been used to create the fake video, according to French fact-checker Estado. The magazine’s photos do not show Macron kissing anyone.
