Uttarakhand CM Dhami Approves Funds For Statewide Developmental Projects

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday approved the release of funds for various developmental projects across the state, according to an official release.

According to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), “Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved Rs 488.40 lakh under NABARD for the renovation of the damaged Kadai Khala Gul in Bhopalpani of the Raipur development block of Dehradun and for the repair and reconstruction of the head and culverts of the main canal of Thano.”

CM Dhami has also approved Rs 156.57 lakh for the construction of a new tube well (Sprinkler Irrigation System) in village Chharba Jungleat Chowki Ward No. 15 in the Sahaspur development block of Vikasnagar assembly constituency.

The CM has approved Rs 463.16 lakh for the restoration and renovation of the right Kho canal under the Kotdwar area of Dugdda development block in Pauri Garhwal district under NABARD. Additionally, Rs 175.54 lakh has been allocated for the construction of a lift irrigation scheme in village Lwali of the Pauri development block.

The CM has also approved Rs 126.68 lakh for the construction of a lift irrigation scheme in village Paithani of the Thalisain development block.

Furthermore, Rs 452.26 lakh has been approved for an anti-soil erosion scheme from the Datgad drain in village Kimagadi of the Pokhra development block in Pauri Garhwal district. Under Ekeshwar, approval of Rs 107.70 lakh has been given for an anti-soil erosion scheme from the Kota drain in village Kota, and Rs 196.43 lakh has been approved for an anti-soil erosion scheme from the western Nyar river of Bagdasera Tok in Ekeshwar.

The Chief Minister has approved Rs 100.49 lakh for the construction of a sprinkler belt lift irrigation scheme in the Chaukhutia development block of Almora district under NABARD. Additionally, Rs 217.31 lakh has been allocated for the renovation of the Chhana canal in the Dwarahat development block.

Approval of Rs 254.62 lakh has been given for the renovation of 12 mountain canals in the Pokhari development block of Chamoli district under NABARD. The CM has also approved Rs 180.81 lakh for the lining work of Kichha Canal in the Rudrapur development block of Udham Singh Nagar district under NABARD and Rs 137.10 lakh for the lining work of Sirsa Canal in the same block.

Rs 290 lakh has been approved for the modernization and restoration of the Sisaiya Canal received from Uttar Pradesh state in Tehsil Sitarganj. Additionally, Rs 212.51 lakh has been approved for the modernization and restoration of Chandeli Minor in Tehsil Khatima, and Rs 162.58 lakh has been approved for the restoration of Canal No 03-03A-03B in Tehsil Khatima.

The Chief Minister has approved works worth Rs 488.0 lakh for flood protection of the Manpur Saini Farm Colony, Silver City Colony, and trenching ground from the Dhela River in Kashipur Municipal Corporation of Udham Singh Nagar district.

Under NABARD, Rs 761.33 lakh has been approved for the renovation of the Lastar main canal and the damaged 8 km of offshoots in the Jakholi development block of Rudraprayag district, and for the construction of 10.214 km of new offshoots through HDPE pipe. Rs 500.38 lakh has been approved for the construction of four lift irrigation schemes in Taila, Sumari, Tumeta, and Sirwadi under the Jakholi development block.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has also approved financial support of Rs 795.69 lakh for the two-and-a-half km-long Bhimtal bypass motor road under the state scheme in Bhimtal of Nainital district.

In line with the CM’s announcement, Rs 274.60 lakh has been approved for the installation of a total of 50 hand pumps in the Haridwar (urban) assembly under Haridwar district.
