In preparation for Independence Day celebrations on August 15, the Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory outlining significant road closures and diversions. The restrictions will be in effect from 4:00 am to 11:00 am to ensure smooth and secure events around the Red Fort.

- Road Closures: Several major roads will be closed during the advisory period, including:
- Netaji Subhash Marg from Delhi Gate to Chhatta Rail
- Lothian Road from GPO to Chhatta Rail
- SP Mukherjee Marg from HC Sen Marg to Yamuna Bazar Chowk
- Chandni Chowk Road from Fountain Chowk to Red Fort
- Nishad Raj Marg from Ring Road to Netaji Subhash Marg
- Esplanade Road and its link to Netaji Subhash Marg
- Ring Road from Rajghat to ISBT
- Outer Ring Road from ISBT to IP Flyover (Salimgarh Bypass)
- Old Iron Bridge and Geeta Colony Bridge

- From South Delhi: Rajghat Crossing -> Shanti Van Crossing -> Nishad Raj Marg -> Moat Road -> Delhi Gate -> Hathi Gate -> Respective Parking
- From North Delhi: ISBT Kashmiri Gate -> Hanuman Setu Outer Ring Road -> Geeta Colony Flyover -> Shanti Van Crossing -> Nishad Raj Marg -> Moat Road -> Delhi Gate -> Hathi Gate -> Respective Parking
- For Parking Label 4:
