Union Health Minister Shri JP Nadda met with a delegation from the Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA) today. He commended their choice to call off the strike for the public good and promised that the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare would address their concerns to enhance workplace safety and conditions.

In a post on X the Health Ministry said, “Union Health Minister, Shri @JPNadda met with the Federation of Resident Doctors Association (@FordaIndia) delegation today. He welcomed their decision to call off the strike in the public interest and assured them that the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare will address all their concerns to ensure a safer and better work environment.”

Despite this, the indefinite strike at AIIMS will continue tomorrow. AIIMS doctors will protest from 8 AM.
The strike has ended in RML, LHMC, MAMC, and Delhi government hospitals solely due to FORDA calling off their strike.
