In a significant development related to Renukaswamy’s murder case, the Chitradurga resident had sustained 39 injuries, including a fractured chest bone and damage to his testicles. Thus leading to his death. Reveals autopsy report.
Bleeding Head, Torn Ear & Signs Of Electric Shocks
As per the report, Renukaswamy had a severe, bleeding head injury, a torn ear, and had signs of electric shocks.
Further, The court’s bail order notes, that the deceased sustained injuries across nearly all parts of his body, some of which were severe. Suggesting, that the victim endured extreme torture.
Additionally, the FSL report indicates that blood and DNA from the deceased were found on the clothes and petitioner’s slipper.
The prosecution presented the detailed autopsy report and accompanying photographs to the 56th Additional City Civil and Sessions Court, which has been reviewing the bail petitions for four suspects, including Darshan’s girlfriend Pavithra Gowda, over the past two weeks.
Pavitra Gowda Central To The Incident
Looking at these points, the judge remarked “If we peruse the allegations made against Pavithra Gowda, it can be seen that she is the root cause of the whole incident. There are allegations that she participated in the abduction and murder conspiracy. There are strong prima facie materials regarding her complicity in the alleged crime. The crime is so heinous and gruesome, and that itself is sufficient ground to reject the bail application.”
Earlier, a photograph showing a shirtless Renukaswamy, tearfully pleading for mercy, was widely circulated on social media. This photo is believed to have been taken shortly before he was brutally killed by Darshan and his associates.

The pictures, which are referenced in the charge sheet, were retrieved from the mobile phone of one of the accused.
Talking about this picture, Renukaswamy’s father said “After seeing the photograph which has gone viral, we are confused. We don’t know what to say and how to react. We can now imagine how much he would have suffered and screamed and pleaded to them. He was tortured beyond tolerance.” Reports PTI.
