Tata Group-owned Air India Express has introduced a special offer for travelers who opt to fly without check-in baggage. The airline announced its ‘Xpress Lite’ feature, allowing passengers to avail fares cheaper than regular ones.

Key Details:

  1. Xpress Lite Benefits: Passengers choosing ‘Xpress Lite’ will enjoy reduced rates for their tickets compared to regular fares.
  2. Cabin Luggage Allowance: Xpress Lite prices include a complimentary +3 kg cabin baggage allowance. Passengers can pre-book an additional 3 kg of cabin luggage for free.
  3. Flexible Check-In Options: Xpress Lite offers flexibility, allowing travelers to avoid queues at counters and baggage belts. Passengers can also pre-book check-in baggage at discounted rates for 15 kg and 20 kg slabs.
  4. Additional Baggage Services: Guests can purchase check-in luggage services at the airport counters, providing convenience and flexibility.
  5. Air India Express Fleet: The airline, a subsidiary of Air India, operates a fleet of 65 aircraft, connecting 31 domestic and 14 international airports.

Ankur Garg, Chief Commercial Officer, Air India Express, expressed the company’s commitment to providing enhanced offerings for Indian flyers. He highlighted that the Xpress Lite Fares aim to redefine convenience in air travel while delivering exceptional value.
