Here’s how the service works:
- Upload or Take a Photo: Customers can upload an existing image or take a new one using their phone.
- Automatic Processing: Blinkit’s system automatically removes the background and resizes the image to the required passport dimensions.
- Choose Quantity: Users can select from 8, 16, or 32 prints, delivered in a stylish envelope.
The announcement has been well-received online, with users expressing their excitement and appreciation for the new feature. One user praised Blinkit as a “lifeline of Gurgaon,” while another appreciated the practical utility of the service. Positive comments highlighted how the service has been a lifesaver in urgent situations, such as late-night visa appointments.
However, not everyone was impressed, with one playful critique suggesting the app promotes “laziness.”
Blinkit’s quick-service initiative marks a significant step in making essential services more accessible and convenient for users.
