In a special session on Saturday, benchmark stock indices hit all-time highs
While the S&P BSE Sensex rose to a record level of 73,982.12 points before retreating, the NSE Nifty50 index also started to reach new highs.
At around 9:23 am, Sensex rose 82.93 points to 73,828.18, while Nifty50 rose 38.70 points to 22,377.45. Also, all major general markets were good.
Today’s market will be divided into two sessions, one session from 9:15 to 10:00 in the morning and the next session from 11:30 to 12:30 at night.
Most Nifty sector indices were well positioned in the first part of the special trading session, with Nifty Media gaining more than 1%.
The top five winners of Nifty50 include Hero MotoCorp, Tata Steel, Apollo Hospitals, L&T, and Wipro. On the contrary, the biggest losers were M&M, Power Grid, BPCL, Sun Pharma and Titan.
