Techknowgreen Solutions Secures Rs 98.10 Mn

Techknowgreen Solutions Limited, listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange under the code 543991, a prominent environmental consulting firm in India, has announced the acquisition of a new project titled “Evaluation of Air Quality in various indoor environments within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).” This study, commissioned by the Maharashtra State government, focuses on assessing air quality in Non-Attainment Areas and critically impacted regions, aiming to develop Best Practices for improving Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) over a contract period of 15 months from the Letter of Award (LOA) date.

The project encompasses the evaluation of air quality in diverse indoor settings, including schools, cinemas, restaurants, shopping malls, offices, residential units, local trains/buses, and other areas significantly affected by air pollution indoors. The study aims to devise strategies to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities associated with indoor air pollution, with particular attention to human exposure.

The proposed study’s objectives are structured into four phases:

Phase I involves assessing the air quality status in selected indoor micro-environments and identifying major pollution sources.
Phase II entails an empirical assessment of health risks arising from exposure to indoor air pollutants and conducting elemental receptor modeling to evaluate health risk parameters.
Phase III focuses on evaluating interventions and formulating best practices for achieving breathable air quality indoors.
Phase IV aims to plan a longitudinal study to gain deeper insights into IAQ dynamics and their impact on health.
Dr. Ajay Ojha, Managing Director of Techknowgreen Solutions Limited, expressed excitement about the project, emphasizing its significance in assessing indoor air quality across MMR. He highlighted the project’s value of Rs 98.10 million and its alignment with the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility and business growth.

Prasad Pawar, CEO and Director of Techknowgreen Solutions Limited, echoed Dr. Ojha’s sentiments, describing the project as a milestone achievement that underscores the company’s financial strength and strategic positioning in the environmental consulting sector. He emphasized the company’s focus on sustainable expansion through exploring new sectors of air quality research and business opportunities.

Overall, the project reflects the government of Maharashtra’s commitment to leadership in air quality management, both outdoors and indoors, underscoring the importance of exposure assessment and management in environmental stewardship.
