The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, has announced the release of the answer key for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2024. Conducted from February 27 to March 9, 2024, in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, the AP TET serves as a crucial assessment for aspiring teachers in the state.
In addition to the answer keys, the department has made available the question papers of the examinations along with the candidates’ responses. Candidates who appeared for the exam can access these materials on the official website and raise objections regarding the provisional answer key.
The AP TET plays a pivotal role in ensuring the national standards and benchmarks for teacher quality in the recruitment process, aligning with the guidelines set by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It serves as an essential qualification for individuals seeking appointment as teachers in both government and private schools.
Designed to assess the competency of candidates aspiring to teach students from classes 1 to 8, the APTET encompasses schools under various managements, including State Government, rural and urban local bodies, AP model schools, welfare and societies schools, private aided schools, and private unaided schools across Andhra Pradesh.
