The National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced registrations for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG), offering a streamlined pathway for aspiring undergraduate students seeking admission to Central Universities (CUs) and various other participating institutions across India.
Candidates have until March 26 to submit their applications for CUET UG 2024, with the exam slated to take place from May 15 to 31. Notably, the results will be announced on June 30, providing ample time for candidates to plan their academic pursuits accordingly.
One of the significant changes introduced for CUET UG 2024 is the adoption of a hybrid mode for the exam. While the majority of the exam will be computer-based, the NTA retains the flexibility to opt for a pen-and-paper format, particularly for subjects witnessing a high volume of registrations. This ensures a fair and inclusive assessment process catering to diverse preferences and requirements.
Furthermore, candidates now have the option to select a maximum of six subjects for the exam, a departure from previous editions where up to 10 subjects could be chosen. This streamlined approach offers greater flexibility and enables candidates to focus on areas aligned with their academic interests and career aspirations.
Moreover, CUET UG 2024 is designed to accommodate linguistic diversity, with the exam being conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, and various regional languages such as Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. With examination centers spanning 380 cities, including 26 international locations, CUET UG ensures accessibility and convenience for candidates nationwide and abroad.
Aspiring undergraduate students are encouraged to seize this opportunity and embark on their academic journey with CUET UG 2024, leveraging the enhanced flexibility, inclusivity, and efficiency offered by the revamped examination framework.
