Overcoming Challenges

Gagan comes from a family of six, and his father works as a warehouse keeper and laborer. During his 11th grade, Gagan himself worked as a daily wage laborer, where he and his brother handled 250 gas cylinders a day, earning INR 350 daily. Despite these challenges, Gagan remained steadfast in his determination. He put in extra hours after work and utilized his smartphone to continue his online studies. Through sheer perseverance, Gagan earned admission to IIT BHU for Electrical and Communication Engineering.

Support and Recognition

Inspired by Gagan’s unwavering determination, Alakh Pandey extended a scholarship of INR 4 lakh to support his aspirations. Recognizing the hard work and commitment of both Gagan and his older brother, Pandey offered them positions at Physics Wallah, enabling them to transition from their laborer roles and improve their quality of life.
