The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) recently announced the results of the Pre University Course (PUC 1) Class 11 exams, and now students are eagerly awaiting the results of the PUC 2 exams. According to reports, KSEAB is likely to declare the PUC 2 exam results in the third week of April.
Total Number Of Students Appeared For The 2nd PUC Exams This year
Over 6.9 lakh students , including
3.3 lakh – Male student
3.6 lakh – Female students
The exams were held from March 1, 2024, to March 22, 2024.
The 2024 KSEAB PUC 2 exam followed an 80+20 pattern, consisting of an 80-mark written test and 20-mark internal assessment.
Last year, KSEAB introduced changes in the SSLC (class 10) and II PUC (class 12) examination system for the academic year 2023-24. Under the revised system, students have the opportunity to retain the best marks from three attempts.
The board renamed the “supplementary examination” as “annual examination 1, 2, and 3″, providing three chances to students considering their varying pace of learning.
When accessing the results, candidates are advised to carefully review essential personal details within the document.
These details include:-
1. Student’s name
2. Parentage information
3. Roll number
4. Subject-wise marks
5. Aggregate marks
6. Overall qualification status (pass or fail).
It’s important to note that the KSEAB has not officially confirmed the specific date for the release of the PUC 2 results. Regarding the Karnataka 2nd PUC result 2024 date and time, KSEAB will make an official announcement on karresults.nic.in.
However, reports stating that the results would be declared on April 3 are false, as confirmed by the board’s President. A fake press statement created confusion, and the board clarified that the evaluation of answer sheets is ongoing. Once the process is complete, a date and time for the results will be fixed.
Students and parents are cautioned against falling for misleading information on social media. For authentic updates on the Karnataka 2nd PUC result date and other exam-related details, they should visit the official website at kseab.karnataka.gov.in.
The 2nd PUC exam was conducted from March 1 to 23 at 1,124 centers, with around 7 lakh students appearing. Evaluation work began on March 25.
The 1st PUC examination results have already been announced. Conducted from February 12 to February 27, 2024, the scores were declared on March 30.
Once the Karnataka PUC 2 results are released, students can check them on karresults.nic.in by following these steps:
1. Visit the Karnataka result portal on karresults.nic.in.
2. Open the PUC 2 exam result link on the home page.
3. On the login page, enter your KSEAB registration number and select the subject combination/stream (Science/Arts/Commerce).
4. Submit the details and check your 2nd PUC result on the next page.
