The Ministry of Education is set to unveil the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2024 today. This marks the ninth edition of this significant annual event, which ranks educational institutions across India. The rankings will be published on the official NIRF website, nirfindia.org, at 3 p.m. These rankings will highlight the best colleges and universities in various categories, including Engineering, medicine, Management, Dental, Pharmacy, and Law, among others.
According to the official website, the NIRF framework employs a methodology developed by a Core Committee established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). This methodology is designed to assess and rank institutions nationwide. The ranking parameters include ‘Teaching, Learning and Resources,’ ‘Research and Professional Practices,’ ‘Graduation Outcomes,’ ‘Outreach and Inclusivity,’ and ‘Perception.’

It is important to note that only institutions that have graduated at least three cohorts of students from full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programs will be considered in these rankings.
