Cabinet Portfolio Announcement Updates: Who From JDP Are Inducted Into Modi 3.0 Cabinet?

HD Kumaraswamy from the Janata Dal (Secular) is appointed as the Minister of Heavy Industries and Minister of Steel, a role from a BJP ally within the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with 71 other ministers, was sworn in yesterday to form the new coalition government. President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath to the newly appointed ministers. The new cabinet consists of 30 Cabinet Ministers, five Ministers of State with independent charge, and 36 Ministers of State.

HD Kumaraswamy from the Janata Dal (Secular) is appointed as the Minister of Heavy Industries and Minister of Steel, a role from a BJP ally within the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Rajiv Ranjan Lalan Singh from the Janata Dal (United), a close ally of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, secures a position as the Minister of Panchayati Raj and Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying in the Modi 3.0 Cabinet.

Amit Shah continues to head the Ministry of Home Affairs, while Rajnath Singh remains in charge of the Defence Ministry. Nitin Gadkari retains his position as the Minister of Road Transport and Highways, with Ajay Tamta and Harsh Malhotra appointed as Ministers of State in the same ministry.

For the third time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also oversees the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions, the Department of Atomic Energy, and the Department of Space. Additionally, Piyush Goyal retains the Commerce portfolio.
