Darsheel Safary starred opposite Aamir Khan in the 2007 film Taare Zameen Par’s Ishaan, which received so much love from fans that after 16 years, Aamir Khan talked about the possibility of reuniting with the star. Darsheel Safary raised the eyebrows of his fans when he shared a collage on Instagram dropping a hint on reuniting with Aamir Khan and doing a new project.
He captioned the post as, “BOOOMMMMM! 16 years later, and we’re together again Emotional? Yeah, a little. Charged? ABSOLUTELY. All the love to my favorite mentor for the experience. Watch this space for the Big reveal. 4 Days to go!!!.”
These photos shared are from Taare Zameen Par, which shows Aamir Khan with a young Darsheel Safary, followed by photos of Aamir Khan as Aamir as an adult and Darsheel as a child. There are reports that they will work together in Aamir’s next film Sitaare Zameen Par. Aamir Khan recently confirmed that Sitaare Zameen Par will be released on Christmas.
This confirmation comes after earlier reports suggested that Aamir will have a busy schedule from February onwards. Additionally, Sitaare Zameen Par will star Genelia D’Souza- her first collaboration with Aamir Khan.
The film will apparently tell an interesting story similar to the touching story of Taare Zameen Par and Genelia is expected to play an important role in the film. Meanwhile, on the production front, Aamir Khan is producing Lahore 1947, starring Sunny Deol in the lead, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
