Amit Shah Reveals ‘Best Of Asha’: Asha Bhosle’s Photobiography

On Wednesday, Home Minister Amit Shah met with the legendary singer Asha Bhosle and unveiled her photobiography titled ‘Best of Asha’. Conceived and launched by Mumbai Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president and MLA Ashish Shelar, ‘Best of Asha’ is a collection of photographs featuring the singer, captured by renowned photographer Gautam Rajadhyaksha. The book has been published by Valuable Group.

The book was inaugurated by Amit Shah at Sahyadri Guest House. Ashish Shelar, accompanied by his wife Pratima Shelar, Janai Bhosale, Anand Bhosale, Ameya Hete, and Ankit Hete from Valuable Group, along with Prasad Mahadkar from Jeevan Gani and designer Nutan Ajgaonkar, who contributed to the creation of the book, were also in attendance.

The legendary singer and the home minister were seen engaging in conversation. The duo posed with ‘Best of Asha’ book.

Additionally, Asha’s granddaughter, Zanai Bhosle, shared glimpses of the memorable encounter on Instagram. In one of the pictures, Zanai and Amit Shah are seen exchanging greetings, while Asha looks on with a smile. Zanai expressed her joy over the meeting, describing it as a “fantastic way to start the day” on her Instagram Stories. Asha also reshared the post, expressing gratitude for the blessed day.

Asha Bhosle is renowned as one of the most accomplished singers in Hindi cinema. With a career that spans over eight decades, she has recorded songs for movies and albums in numerous Indian languages, earning accolades along the way. Notably, she received the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award, as well as the Padma Vibhushan in 2008, the nation’s second-highest civilian honor.
