Athiya Shetty is a popular name in Bollywood who has worked with noted stars such as Arjun Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Her father and Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty recently said that he was going to become a ‘nana’ (maternal grandfather) soon. This sparked rumours of the ‘Hero’ actress, who is married to cricketer KL Rahul, being pregnant.

Athiya has now posted a photo form from her childhood and captioned it ‘cute but scorpio’. Fans feel that this is her way of acknowledging the speculation.

Athiya made her big screen debut with ‘Hero’ in which she was seen opposite Sooraj Pancholi. She then maintained a relatively low profile. Rumours of her being in a relationship with KL Rahul soon began doing the rounds. The two, however, refrained from commenting on this in public.

They nonetheless had sweet interactions on social media, making their relationship Insta-official. Athiya and Rahul tied the knot in 2023 in a relatively private ceremony. Suniel Shetty shares a strong bond with Rahul. In an interview with India Today, ‘Anna’ said he considers him his son.
“I said (I am his) father, I don’t know the role of father-in-law; I was his fan today there is a relationship, but I loved Rahul, like I do a lot of young talent. I am someone who has always gone to watch talents perform, even in my prime as an actor,” he said.
On the front, Athiya Athiya was last seen in ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’, which featured her alongside Nawazuddin. The film received mixed to negative reviews upon its release. It was directed by Debamitra Biswal and marked her debut as a director. The comedy-drama was produced by Rajesh Bhatia, Kiran Bhatia, and Viacom18 Studios.
Athiya has yet to announce her next film.
