The epic film ‘Avatar: The Way of Water,’ directed by James Cameron, is set to be released on the streaming platforms Disney + and Max on June 7.
According to Variety, a US-based media outlet, the product is the result of a deal between Disney+ and Max that allows Max to share streaming windows with Disney+ and Hulu for half of the studio’s titles until the 2022 release year.
Fans can rejoice as ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ arrives in their living rooms free of cost. According to Variety, it will also be available for free streaming on Amazon Prime Video through the platform’s.
The script is by Cameron and Josh Friedman, and it is a sequel to the Academy Award-winning epic adventure ‘Avatar,’ which was released in theatres 13 years ago.
The plot follows the Sully family (Jake Sully, Neytiri, and their children) as they leave their homes to explore uncharted areas of Pandora. When an old threat reappears, Jake is once again forced to wage war against humans.
The streaming debuts on June 7 on Disney+ and Max.
