Dhanush will soon be seen in the eagerly-awaited ‘Kubera’, one of the most talked about films of his career. The flick has garnered a fair deal of attention as it features him in a new avatar. Here is an exciting update for those looking forward to it. On Sunday, July 28, the makers of ‘Kubera’ unveiled its new poster. This is their gift for Dhanush fans on his birthday.

Dhanush, who turns 41 today (July 21) is one of the most popular stars in the film industry. On the special occasion, the makers of ‘Kubera’ unveiled a new poster. It features the ‘Maari’ actor in a striking new look. His intensity is hard to miss.

‘Kubera’, directed by Sekhar Kammula, marks Dhanush’s first collaboration with Rashmika Mandanna. It also features veteran Tollywood star Nagarjuna in a pivotal role. The cast includes Dalip Tahil and Jim Sarbh. The film’s music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. It is, reportedly set to hit screens in December. ‘Kubera’, which was announced in March, marks Dhanush’s 51st project as an actor.

Busy Time For Dhanush

Dhanush, meanwhile, is going through a busy phase on the work front. He was last seen in ‘Raayan’. Directed by and starring Dhanush, the film is an action-thriller that revolves around a fast-food hotel owner as he tries to eliminate those who had once harmed his family. The cast includes Aparna Balamurali, Dushara Vijayan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, and Sundeep Kishan.

It has collected over Rs 50 crore at the worldwide box office despite clashing with the Hollywood flick ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’, which features Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the lead.

Dhanush will also be seen in a film based on the life of music maestro Ilaiyaraaja. The biopic will be directed by Arun Matheswaran, who rose to fame with his work on ‘Rocky’ and ‘Captain Miller’.
