Emraan Hashmi will soon be seen in ‘OG’, which marks his Telugu and South debut. The film has created a fair deal of buzz among fans as it marks his first collaboration with Pawan Kalyan, one of Tollywood’s biggest stars.
On Sunday, March 24, the makers of the film unveiled Emraan’s first look poster to coincide with his 45th birthday. The erstwhile ‘Serial Kisser’ is seen as an intense and raw avatar, which is quite different from anything he has donned in the past. The black shirt and golden kada add to its recall value.
The makers also revealed that he plays a character named Omi Bhau in ‘OG’ and will lock horns with Pawan Kalyan on the big screen.
OG, directed by Sujeeth of ‘Saaho’ fame, is billed as a gangster drama with plenty of action scenes. Going by its first glimpse, it revolves around a deadly and violent kingpin with a blood past. ‘OG’ is expected to feature action scenes and elevation sequences.
Its cast includes Priyanka Arul Mohan, Prakash Raj, Arjun Das and Sriya Reddy. The film is produced by DVV Danayya under DVV Entertainment, the banner behind ‘RRR’. ‘OG’ is set to hit screens on September 27.
Coming back to Emraan Hashmi, he was last seen in ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’, which premiered on Prime Video on March 21. The film featured him as Ram Manohar Lohia and marked his first collaboration with Sara Ali Khan. It was directed by Kannan Iyer of ‘Ek Thi Daayan’ fame. Emraan will soon be seen in ‘G2’, starring Adivi Sesh.
