Boss Moves! Alia Bhatt Is All Set To Host Her First ‘Hope Gala’ Event In London

Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt is all set to organize her inaugural ‘Hope Gala’ event in London. According to sources close to the actress, Alia will be hosting the Hope Gala on March 28th in partnership with Mandarin Oriental hotel group at their Hyde Park, London location. The event aims to support Alia’s chosen charity Salaam Bombay, which focuses on engaging with Mumbai’s most at-risk children through in-school leadership and advocacy programs as well as after-school skill-building academies.

These initiatives help build the children’s confidence, self-esteem and encourage them to remain in school. Reportedly, the gala will be attended by prominent industrialists and philanthropists from both India and London. The prestigious event carries profound meaning, as its aim is to support Alia’s chosen charity Salaam Bombay.

The organization is dedicated to empowering Mumbai’s most vulnerable children by providing meaningful opportunities via in-school programs centered on leadership and advocacy as well as after-school academies focused on skill-building. Their goal is to build the children’s confidence and commit them to remaining in school.

On the work front, Alia was last seen in Karan Johar’s directorial comeback Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Ranveer Singh. The film also featured veteran actors like Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan.

Additionally, Alia will next be seen in Vasan Bala’s Jigra co-starring Vedang Raina in a pivotal role. Just a few days ago, the actress had shared candid pictures with her co-star announcing the completion of the shoot in Singapore. Touted as an intense prison-break thriller, the Dharma Productions and Alia’s Eternal Sunshine Productions backed film has generated immense curiosity with its intriguing first-look poster. The much-awaited Jigra is scheduled to release on September 27, 2024.
