Noida police files chargesheet against YouTuber Elvish Yadav and seven others for snake smuggling and rave party allegations
Noida police have recently filed a 1200-page chargesheet against popular YouTuber and Big Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav, along with seven others, in connection with serious allegations ranging from snake smuggling to organizing rave parties.
According to the chargesheet, Elvish Yadav was allegedly in communication with snake charmers, and authorities recovered a poisonous snake and 20 milliliters of venom from the Krait species from the location, as reported by DCP Noida.
The case against Elvish Yadav and six others was initiated last year in November when the PFA organization filed an FIR. The FIR was registered at Noida Sector 49 police station, accusing them of supplying snake venom suspected to be used as a recreational drug at a rave party in Noida.
Following the FIR, the case was transferred from Noida’s Sector 49 police station to Sector 20 police station, on the directive of Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh.
Elvish Yadav was taken into custody by the police on March 17 along with five other individuals. They were charged under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120A (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code. However, Elvish Yadav was granted bail by the Gautam Buddha Nagar District Court five days after his arrest.
Subsequently, two more suspects, identified as Ishwar and Vinay from Haryana, were arrested in connection with the case. Both individuals are said to be acquainted with Elvish Yadav.
The chargesheet filed by the Noida police highlights the seriousness of the allegations against Elvish Yadav and the others involved. The case has drawn significant attention due to its unusual nature, involving snake smuggling and allegations of organizing illicit rave parties.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the matter, aiming to bring clarity to the events surrounding the snake smuggling and rave party accusations.
