Chiranjeevi Donates ₹1 Crore to Wayanad Landslide Victims, Meets Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan

Veteran actor Chiranjeevi recently visited Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to personally deliver a ₹1 crore donation for the victims of the devastating Wayanad landslides. This contribution, pledged by both Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan, is part of a broader effort by various celebrities to aid those affected by the natural disaster.

Speaking to the press, Chiranjeevi emphasized the importance of solidarity and support in times of crisis. “I have come here to show my solidarity, sympathy, and appreciation. We cannot bring back the lives lost, but we are here to offer our support and show that we care,” he said. He also called on others to join in helping the people of Wayanad, stating, “This is when you have to show your humanity and come forward. Support them in any way you can and express gratitude to the Navy, Army, police, fire services, and medical personnel.”

Earlier, Chiranjeevi expressed his distress over the tragedy on social media, stating, “Deeply distressed by the devastation and loss of hundreds of precious lives in Kerala due to nature’s fury. My heart goes out to the victims of the Wayanad tragedy. Charan and I are contributing ₹1 crore to the Kerala CM Relief Fund as a token of our support.”

In addition to his philanthropic efforts, Chiranjeevi will soon be seen in the film Vishwambhara, directed by Malladi Vassishta, which is set for release during Sankranthi next year. Meanwhile, Ram Charan will star in Shankar’s Game Changer, scheduled for release in December this year.
