Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur costarred in Shahid’s last theatrical release, Jersey (2022), which opened with Rs 2.93 crore and ended with Rs 19.68 cr. It was a box office bomb. Not even Kriti’s most recent film, Ganpath, starring Tiger Shroff and Amitabh Bachchan, was able to draw audiences to the theaters.

Within the realm of artificial intelligence, the film narrates a singular love story. Shahid portrays a scientist who grows fond of Kriti, an intelligent female robot. Trade expert Taran Adarsh claims that with a worldwide opening day making over $700k, the movie has set a record for Shahid.
