Former tennis star Sania Mirza’s ex-husband, Shoaib Malik, has once again found himself in a soup. Actress Nawal Saeed recently made a surprising revelation during an interview on a Pakistani chat show called ‘Life Green Hai’, sparking speculation about her hinting at Shoaib. For the unversed, the cricketer surprised many when he announced his marriage to actress Sana Javed on January 20, 2024 via social media.
Speaking on the chat show hosted by Aijaz Aslam and Nadia Khan, Nawal disclosed receiving direct messages from numerous cricketers, including some who are married or in committed relationships. When asked about specific cricketers, such as Naseem Shah and Shoaib Malik, Nawal sidestepped the questions, opting to laugh them off. Expressing her disapproval, she remarked that she believes cricketers, being role models for many, should refrain from such behaviour.
Although Nawal declined to delve into further details about the context of the messages, speculation arose online about whether Shoaib Malik was among those who allegedly sent “flirty” DMs. Meanwhile, Shoaib celebrated his new wife Sana Javed’s 31st birthday, with the actress sharing affectionate photos of them together on her Instagram. The post attracted criticism from fans of Sania Mirza, who trolled the actress in the comments section.
For those who are not aware, Sania and Shoaib got married in Hyderabad in 2010, followed by a Walima ceremony in Sialkot, Pakistan. They welcomed their son, Izhaan Mirza Malik, in 2018. In January of this year, Sania’s team confirmed their separation, urging fans to refrain from speculation.
