The Last Frontier, an Apple drama series, starring actors Haley Bennett and Dominic Cooper. The show, which was ordered for ten episodes back in February 2023, will feature Haley and Cooper in addition to Jason Clarke. Described by Variety as “the lone Marshal in charge of the quiet, rugged barrens of Alaska, whose jurisdiction is turned upside-down when a prison transport plane crashes in the remote wilderness, setting free dozens of violent inmates,” Clarke plays US Marshall Frank Remnick in the series. As the town’s guardian, he starts to believe the crash wasn’t a coincidence but rather the start of a carefully thought-out scheme with global political ramifications.”
Bennett will be seen as Sidney, described as “a CIA Agent who is tasked with working with Frank.”
Cooper will star as Havlock, said to be “a former Navy Seal and fugitive who is being hunted by US Marshals and the CIA.”
‘Last Frontier’ marks the first TV role of Bennett’s career. She was previously seen in films such as ‘Swallow’, ‘Widow Clicquot’, ‘The Magnificent Seven’, and ‘Cyrano’.
In the coming days, she is also set to appear in ‘Borderlands’ movie.
Cooper has starred in television series such as “Agent Carter” and “Spy City” in addition to the AMC series “Preacher.” His parts in motion pictures such as “Captain America: The First Avenger,” “The Devil’s Double,” and “Mamma Mia!” also helped him become well-known. The writers of “The Last Frontier” are Jon Bokenkamp and Richard D’Ovidio. With Clarke, they both function as executive producers. The pilot will be directed and executive produced by Sam Hargrave. Producing will be Apple Studios.
