Dua Lipa’s fans have reason to celebrate as the singer unveils details about her upcoming album ‘Radical Optimism’. Scheduled for release on May 3, the album features 11 tracks, including the previously released singles ‘Houdini’ and ‘Training Season’, as per Variety’s report.
The album’s cover art depicts Dua Lipa submerged in water, with a shark lurking nearby.
Described as drawing inspiration from her hometown, London, and the unfiltered, confident vibe of ’90s Britpop, the album aims to embody the concept of Radical Optimism. Dua Lipa shared, “A few years back, I came across the term Radical Optimism, and it immediately struck a chord with me. As I explored and incorporated this concept into my life, I felt increasingly drawn to it.”
She further elaborated, “The idea of navigating through chaos with grace and feeling equipped to withstand any storm resonated deeply with me. Additionally, I delved into the musical history of psychedelia, trip hop, and Britpop, which exuded a sense of confident optimism. This same spirit and attitude permeated my recording sessions.”
Excited by the news, fans eagerly anticipate the album’s release. One fan expressed, “Dua, this album is going to be phenomenal! I can already envision the dedication and effort you’ve poured into it. I’m beyond excited!” Another fan eagerly exclaimed, “I simply can’t wait!”
