The much-anticipated spy thriller film “G2” directed by Adivi Sesh will feature actor Emraan Hashmi in it. Emraan Hashmi showed off the announcement poster to his fans on Instagram, writing, “The biggest spy franchise gets a blockbuster addition.” Mission G2: boarding. Shooting is currently underway. Emraan Hashmi expressed his excitement by saying, “It’s really exciting to be joining the G2 cast. I’m excited to be involved in this spy thriller because the script is so interesting.”
Adivi Sesh said, “I am thrilled to have Emraan Hashmi on board for G2. His presence will undoubtedly bring a new dimension to the film.”

The news that Banita Sandhu will be playing the lead lady heightens the excitement for G2. A compelling story and intense action are what fans can anticipate from the sequel as it develops. Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi, the editor of “Major,” who wrote the screenplay alongside Adivi Sesh, will be directing the film for the first time. The movie, dubbed “G2,” is the follow-up to Adivi Sesh’s massively successful Telugu movie “Goodachari,” which also starred Jagapathi Babu and Shobhita Dhulipala in the key parts.
Producers TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal, who delivered hits like ‘Kashmir Files’, ‘Karthikeya 2’ and ‘Major’ will be jointly producing the movie under the banners of People Media Factory, Abhishek Agarwal Arts and AK Entertainments India Pvt Ltd.
Meanwhile, Emraan was recently seen in the action thriller film ‘Tiger 3’ in which he portrayed the role of an antagonist.
The film also starred Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.
