Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Prime Video (April 5)
Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon team up for a romantic comedy in “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,” directed by first-time filmmakers Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah. The film tells the story of a robot scientist, played by Shahid Kapoor, who finds himself falling for Kriti Sanon’s highly-intelligent female robot character, Sifra. Released in theaters on February 9, 2024, this film promises a blend of romance and comedy.

Farrey, Zee5 (April 5)
Salman Khan’s niece Alizeh Agnihotri makes her debut in “Farrey,” a film directed by Soumendra Padhi, known for the acclaimed Netflix series “Jamtara.” The film, released in theaters on November 24, 2023, revolves around students using small chits of paper called “farrey” to cheat in exams. This Bollywood debut promises drama and intrigue.
Loot season 2, Apple TV+ (April 3)
The popular Apple TV+ comedy “Loot” returns with its second season, featuring Maya Rudolph, Michael Jae Rodriguez, and Joel Kim Booster. Maya Rudolph stars as ultra-rich divorcee Molly Wells in this ensemble comedy created by Alan Yang and Matt Hubbard.

Wish, Disney+ Hotstar (April 3)
Wish is Disney’s latest animated film now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. Directed by Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn, the film follows the journey of Asha, a 17-year-old girl in the Kingdom of Rosas, as she uncovers a dark secret about Magnifico, her country’s tyrannical ruler. This family-friendly animated movie promises adventure and intrigue.

Ripley, Netflix (April 4)
“Ripley” is an eight-episode limited series on Netflix, directed by Academy Award-winner Steve Zaillian (“The Irishman”). Set in Italy in the ’60s, Andrew Scott stars as the roguish protagonist Tom Ripley in this suspense-filled journey.

Sugar, Apple TV+ (April 5)
“Sugar” on Apple TV+ is a playful homage to classic detective genres, starring Colin Farrell as John Sugar, a private eye in Los Angeles. Hired by a movie producer (James Cromwell) to find his missing granddaughter (Sydney Chandler), Sugar navigates a world of mystery and intrigue.

Parasyte: The Grey, Netflix (April 5)
“Parasyte: The Grey”** is a Korean sci-fi horror series on Netflix, drawing inspiration from the Japanese Manga “Parasyte” by Hitoshi Iwaaki. The series follows a young woman caught between her humanity and parasitic influence, as unidentified parasites violently take over human hosts.

Scoop, Netflix (April 5)
“Scoo” is a dramatised feature on Netflix, centered around the BBC’s Newsnight team scoring a revealing 2019 interview with Prince Andrew about his ties to millionaire sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Gillian Anderson and Rufus Sewell lead the cast, along with Billie Piper, Keeley Hawes, and Romola Garai in this film about journalism and sexual exploitation.
