Holi 2024: Amitabh Bachchan Spends Quality Time With Jaya and Abhishek on ‘Festival of Colours’

Amitabh Bachchan is inarguably one of Indian cinema’s biggest names. The ‘Sadi Ka Mahanayak’ has left a lasting impact on  generations of movie buffs with his powerful performances, iconic baritone and remarkable performances. On Monday, March 25, Big B celebrated Holi 2024 with his family. A few photos from their celebrations have gone viral and they are a treat for his fans.

In them, Bachchan is seen drenched in colours as he enjoys the company of his near and dear ones. Jaya Bachchan, on the other hand, is seen playing with a pichkari. Abhishek Bachchan also enjoyed the occasion to the fullest and posed for a photo with Shweta and his legendary father.

These photos, shared by Shweta and Navya, also revealed that the Bachchans feasted on gujjiiyas and other delicacies on the festive occasion.

Additionally, AB Sr took to his blog to wish fans on the special occasion. He shared photos from Holi celebrations at his residence over the years and  thanked well-wishers for their support.

“Then .. and now. Greetings and wishes for Holi .. the happiness and the joy of everlasting colours of fulfilment and gaiety and merriment ..have lost count of the number of Holi celebrations at Prateeksha ..God has been kind … and the kindness of the Ef and the well-wishers, galore,” read the post.

Interestingly, it was recently reported that the ‘Sholay’ star was  rushed to a hospital where he underwent angioplasty. Big B, however, dismissed these rumours.

On the work front, he will next be seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. The sci-fi drama features Prabhas and Deepika Padukone as the lead pair. It is slated to hit screens on May 9 but may get delayed because of the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Bachchan also has ‘Vettaiyan’, starring Rajinikanth, in his kitty.The film is being directed by TJ Gnanavel of ‘Jay Bhim’ fame and reportedly features a commercial storyline with a message.
